➠ The new moon WAS SIGHTED in Israel on the evening of Friday 4 October 2024, by:
* David Chen at 6:31 PM from Qiryath Yam
* Various other people around Israel
According to David Chen, the sighting was “very easy, because there were no clouds and Venus provided a clear reference. Even though the moon was low on the horizon and in the haze, it was clearly visible with my naked eye.”
